Harvesting Bamboo: Bamboo is a renewable resource that
reaches maturity in as little as three years. After
harvesting bamboo, the outer layer of the green skin is
removed and the stalks are sliced into strips. The strips
are then kiln dried and glued together to form wider strips,
or planks. The planks are then milled to form the high
quality coasters shown above.
